Intermediate Chokey Training

Shejun is pleased to announce intermediate Chokey lessons from 25 July to 16 September 2016, from 5-7pm, on weekdays except public holidays. Interested candidates are asked to register before 5pm 15 July 2016 by calling 17547653 or visiting Shejun Office, in Dewa Khangzang opposite General Post Office.

The course is free of cost but candidates must pay Nu.2000 for course materials. The course is intended for people with basic knowledge of reading and writing Chokey and shall involve reading, analysing and translating Chokey texts on Buddhism, history and other disciplines in the medium of English and Dzongkha. Prof. Yoshiro Imaeda will be the main instructor. This is essentially a FREE course and Shejun follows an equal opportunities policy.
